We’d like to congratulate our American team ‘ALVIMEDICA’ for winning in-port race in Alicante, Spain! The Volvo Ocean Race is the largest sailing event in the world, during which, the competitors visit 11 ports around the world and cover 38,739 Nautical Miles! Racing yachts and participating in regattas is a completely different experience from cruising and having a vacation obviously. It requires a lot of training, stamina and the crew will endure heavy sea conditions, boat repairs and will be away from the families for nine months.
