We’d love to tell you about a wonderful pug rescues charity called the PDWRA – The Pug Dog Welfare & Rescue Association... PDWRA operates throughout the whole of the UK, no profits are made and everyone gives their time and talents freely, each year they re-home and rescue many pugs in 2013 around 150 pugs were surrendered to PDWRA for rehoming. PDWRA is a charity and you can support them in many ways by donation, offering your time and fund raising with stamps. FUND RAISING WITH STAMPS Please send in ANY used stamps, removed with approximately ½ to 1 cm (quarter of an inch) of envelope surrounding the stamp to prevent damage. The stamps do not need to be sorted into individual countries or prices etc… They are bought by weight, so the humdrum stamps are worth as much as the unusual ones. At the end of every quarter, the buyer weighs up all the PDWRA stamp donations and sends us a cheque which goes straight into the Association’s coffers. Please encourage family, friends, work colleagues, schools, local shops to collect and become involved, it makes all the difference to the PDWRA. Please send the stamps to the following address: Pug Dog Welfare & Rescue Association Used Stamps Appeal Fords Farm Horsey Norfolk NR29 4EP Website: pugwelfare-rescue.org.uk Happy stamp collecting.
