We’re excited about a busy and fun week for ONE in Portland! We hope you can join us for any of these events. Here’s what we have going on: Wednesday October 1st at 6:00 PM: Monthly ONE meeting for volunteers at Kell’s Irish Pub. We are so grateful that Kell’s has provided us with a meeting space for our monthly meetings at no cost. We meet every first Wednesday of the month. Come have a pint of Guinness and some good snacks with us at Kell’s – 112 S.W. Second Ave., Portland, 97204. Thursday October 2nd at 9:00 AM: Tune in to KINK FM 101.9 and we’ll be talking about ONE and how volunteers can get involved right here in Portland. This is a follow-up to an interview KINK did with Bono last week. We’re super excited about this opportunity! Saturday October 4th: ONE is one of the sponsors for the Electric Run. We’ll be there talking with runners about electricity in Africa and the Energize Africa Act. We could really use you at this fun event! Put your ONE t-shirt on with glow in the dark accessories and you’re all set. This is an evening event held at Portland International Raceway. More details to follow regarding specific meeting time and place.
