We’re getting ready for the NFL’s big game! Our Emergency Management Institute recently helped the City of Glendale, Arizona with its preparation for the upcoming Super Bowl, through the Virtual Table Top Exercise program. FEMA linked up with the cites of Glendale, Arizona, Houston, Texas, Minneapolis, Minnesota; and four other groups to reach over 70 participants for the no cost, four hour training. All the participants learned about approaches and solutions to catastrophic incidents, thanks to a challenging simulated scenario. And the training wasn’t just for emergency managers – it included representatives from police, fire, emergency medical services, public works and critical incident stress management.
