We’re going to have the Lunar Eclipse on Friday morning here in the US Pacific time zone. It’s going to be on Anuradha Nakshatra, in Scorpio. We’ve had a lot of eclipses this cycle, we’ve actually had three. The last time, the Moon was full and there was also an eclipse in Libra. Then we had the Solar Eclipse in Aries and now we’re having the last eclipse in Scorpio. This is quite an intense eclipse, that may sound redundant but the Moon is going to be debilitated for this eclipse because the Moon is in Scorpio. The Moon is debilitated in Scorpio because it’s the sign of emotional intensity, literally, it’s where we fear losing those things that we’ve become emotionally attached to and we all have a lot of emotional attachment. In fact, this just comes down to things that you’re afraid of losing, like a mother’s love for a child and this terrifying thought of losing your child — that sort of terror is related to Scorpio. Those imagined fears and what we do to try to control situations so as to not lose those things that we’re afraid of losing. One of the biggest issues of Scorpio is control, because it’s where we become aware of the fact that we have no control and we don’t. We try to control things because we’re afraid of losing what we are so attached to and become aware of the fact that we have no control over that.
