We’re looking for a front-end /Back-end web developer who will work to implement an online store service. This position requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in coding distributed Internet/eCommerce applications that support multi-million visits per day. A background in working within Agile development methodology, and programming of complex database-backed web sites is vital. A bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline or equivalent related technical experience is required. Additional requirements for this position are as follows: o Proven ability to code and document complex web applications employing current knowledge of enterprise application technologies and development techniques. o A core understanding of the software development lifecycle and of Quality Assurance techniques using source code control repositories, debugging and testing experience. o An awareness and use of security technologies in eCommerce development. o The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with management and peers. o A sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines. - Skill Set: o Strong HTML/XML/CSS/JS/AJAX skills. o Strong coding experience in PHP/MySQL in multiple MVC frameworks o Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, SEO and browser compatibility o Deep knowledge of emerging technologies, including HTML5 and CSS3 o Commercial experience with code management systems o Experience with integrating Web APIs o Ability to deliver scalable applications and carry out benchmarking o Automated browser testing and unit testing o Experience of PHP Framework o Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA o Writing a mixture of front end and back end code o Ensuring that sites are developed to be robust, stable and scalable o Contributing to the architectural design and technology selection processes. o Strong experience with different Object Oriented Programming Techniques. o Solid understanding of what interfaces, and inheritance are used for. cv1@proegypt
