We’re ready to fly, but Mother Nature isn’t cooperating so far. It’s really, really hard on a small hot air balloon ride business like ours to be nearly 100% booked this weekend, then cancel and rescheduled all of the flights. Safety is always our primary concern. Whenever certain key words are mentioned on local weather forecasts like “breezy”, “unstable”, “spotty”, “foggy” or worse like thundershowers, ballooning normally can’t happen. This weekend, a stationary front has parked over southwest Ohio, causing all of the above conditions to be present. The good news-our records from many previous seasons show that these weather issues mostly go away after May 15th each year. We are anxiously awaiting these better conditions. Thanks to all of our wonderful customers, crew, and pilots for your patience. We will be flying soon, and it is always worth the wait!!!
