We’re very excited to announce that BEST COAST will be playing an in-store performance here at Schoolkids Records on Saturday, June 1st at 2 PM. The band will be playing at Lincoln Theatre that night (tickets are still available—buy them here: (etix/ticket/online/performanceSearch.jsp?performance_id=1711141&cobrand=lincoln) at 9 PM with openers Guards and Lovely Bad Things, but before that show, they’ll play an afternoon show to a packed Schoolkids. Like all of our in-store performances, admission is free, but make sure to get here early as there will certainly be a lot of people showing up for this, and our store may not be big enough to accommodate everybody that comes by for the in-store. Best Coast has been one of our best-sellers over the past three years, from last year’s hook-filled The Only Place back to their stellar debut, 2010’s Crazy For You. This in-store is one of the biggest in-store performances Schoolkids has had over the last 5 years, so we’re extremely pumped to give everyone the opportunity to see such a beloved band in a more intimate venue than they’d otherwise have a chance to see them. We’re really looking forward to this event, and we hope you are, too.
