We’ve Evidence Of Fayemi’s Shady Deals -PDP The Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State has claimed it has proof to substantiate its allegations of shady deals against Governor Kayode Fayemi. In a statement by its State Publicity Secretary, Kola Oluwawole, on Tuesday, the party described the defence put up by Fayemi as an afterthoughts. The PDP had accused the outgoing administration of engaging in last-minute recruitment of workers and panic withdrawal of funds among others. Fayemi, had in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, on Sunday, described the allegations as wicked, reckless, malicious and a calculated attempt to tarnish the reputation of his administration. The governor also called the allegation as an anticipatory excuse for lack of performance when the new government gets into office. He challenged the PDP to mention the banks where the alleged illegal movement of funds took place and explain where the so called 3,000 workers were recruited illegally. Describing the governor’s defence as an afterthoughts, the PDP said it had discovered more illegal deals and underhand on the part of the administration. It said the rebuttal by Fayemi as released by the Commissioner for Information, Mr. Tayo Ekundayo, on one hand and Oyebode on the other was laced with inconsistencies and deliberate falsification of facts.— Vox Populi News.
