We’ve been asked about the megafauna fossil fragments in the children’s Junior Palaeontology Activity Pack. In the vast majority of cases, the child can take the fossil fragment home with them. However, staff have been trained to identify and hold onto anything that may be of particular scientific importance and pass it onto the Queensland Museum’s palaeontologists.
