We’ve been caring for two dogs involved in a tragic road accident at Lake Boga last week. Jessie and Angel were on their way to Victorian-based animal shelters, Second Chance Animal Rescue Inc. and Dindi Animal Rescue, when the accident occurred. Both dogs suffered serious injuries in the crash and required significant veterinary treatment in our ICU. We’re pleased to advise both Jessie and Angel have now been discharged and have made their way to their respective shelters for further rest and recuperation. The pair will still need further treatment at Lort Smith and will need to be monitored closely. It’ll be a tough road ahead but they’re on the way to recovery. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the tragic accident.
