We’ve got a big week ahead of us here on World Prayer Today as we travel through Latin America. Today we stop in the country of Bolivia and focus our prayers on the Quechua people. Dating back to pre-Incan times and making up about 1/3 of the population of Bolivia, many Quechua live in hard-to-reach mountain and forest areas. But, praise God, we still receive news from isolated regions: “I like it when your program speaks of the coming of Christ, but there are times when you talk about the Christian life and it’s hard. Thank you for teaching me how to cope with temptations and overcome them.” Let’s ask God to continue to move in the hearts and lives of the Quechua people and bless them for their faithfulness to Him. Tomorrow we’re off to Cuba.
