We’ve recently taken two reports involving victims who were scammed through Craig’s List. In each instant, the victim attempted to purchase a vehicle on Craig’s List and paid through Money Gram, they were directed to a fake internet link that initially looked like Ebay Motors. This link then connected to other websites and a vehicle was never sold to them. Please note that Craigslist already warns users to “never wire funds via Western Union, Moneygram or other wire service - anyone who asks you to do so is likely a scammer.” craigslist.org/about/scams
