What Do I Think, What Do You Think At the end of todays fifty-seven second video I am asked, What do I think?, by a young tennis player with a big smile. First things first, the short film certainly made my day. Secondly, I would love to have tennis players all over the world duplicate the energy from todays video. In regard to the video, thanks for the thanks. Although, I am not the inventor of THE GREAT BASE BACKBOARD. It is a spin-off of the Tennismate that was available in the 80s. There are many versions of the portable backboard sold all over the world. We have been distributing the portable backboard for one year. We are as Mom and Pop with our operation as one can imagine. Even though the project has not been a money-maker we are committed to the dream of having tennis players, old or young, hitting more balls with proper technique. Starting in January we will, at no charge, share the directions on how to go to your hardware store, buy materials and build your own backboard. It will take an ample amount of time and skill to build a portable backboard but it will save money. A side story to todays video, the young boy hitting forehands has to do daily household chores for his parents to pay his tournament entry-fees. I have observed tennis parents for forty years and this concept goes towards the top of the plus list. The teaching of giving for getting is not emphasized enough in junior tennis. THE GREAT BASE on-line free course is not really my invention either. The content is based on tennis masters and methods I have studied. The mission of THE GREAT BASE is to make the difficult sport of tennis easier. Please comment. Would it not be great if tennis players were hitting balls in their driveway or garage with proper technique? What do you think?
