What Does the Lords Supper Mean? (Luke 22) Brethren, Jesus cammands us to eat and drink the Lords Supper to remember His death. Participating in this special meal is a way of recalling the vast amount of suffering Jesus subjected Himself to—all for us. This is the reason He came to earth. Jesus came to die as a sacrifice for our sins, not His. Could you imagine making such a scrifice? God doesnt command us to kilk ourselves fir another, but He does want us to remember the gift He has given us. The gift of forgiveness that we cannot earn. The gift of Gods love that He has freely given to us. Accept your gift. God bless you!
