Then there are 8 MPs whom I am allowed to nominate. That gives us close to 80 MPs in the house. So we will govern. And if you remember President Mwanawasa come into power with few MPs and he managed. So it is possible. But the budget in place is a PF one Every new government all over the world inherits the budget of the previous government. MMD found a UNIP budget and PF used an MMD budget in 2012. Its normal. In fact it is even wrong to call it a PF budget. It is the budget of 14 million Zambian people. So wont you be bound by this budget No we wont. We have room to take a supplementary budget to Parliament which will allow us to change some things that we may not be happy with. Also there are a lot of things that can be done outside the budget. For example creating an environment conducive for business and investment which is lacking at the moment. But what can you do in two years A lot! Reinstating the nurses, removing the wage freeze, recognizing the Chitimukulu, enacting a new constitution. We will reduce the cost of production to reduce the cost of living and cost of doing business. In two years we can create jobs. Example is to give a national coverage license to QFM/Hot FM and others. That improves your advertising potential and consequently revenue leading to growth including jobs. What do you say about violence This violence is one sided. You saw what happened in Shiwangandu where defenseless women were made to run for their lives. In Mongu one of our people was almost killed by a known PF cadre. We all know that the PF is a naturally violent party. In the past they have even hacked each other with pangas. What more outsiders? Will you concede should you lose? The people of Zambia have made up their minds. There is nothing PF can do in the remaining 12 days to change that. We have received massive reception where ever we have gone. The people are determined for change. So there is nothing to concede. What are you doing about rigging? The first instance is for Zambians to come out in huge numbers to vote. That is a way of stopping rigging. Secondly Zambians must guard their vote by being alert and questioning any suspicious activity. Thirdly we are doing certain things as a party to stop rigging.
