What Have We Become Did you ever wonder why schools are changing over to a ridiculous system of teaching called Common Core? Or why dolls are are now becoming gender-neutral? A country, where bibles are removed from everyday life, yet handed out to prisoners. Where Oxycontin is handed out like candy to anyone with an ache, and we are left to wonder how the drug addicts now resort to heroin use and overdose and death. Our youngest generation stare mindlessly into their phones, oblivious to their surroundings or in fact, the world around them. A country where Islam is slowly working its way into America, one small community at a time. Television has become a cess-pool of politics and reality shows. We all remember a nipple slip during the Super Bowl, yet many of us are unsure of our vice-president’s name. Where Hony Boo Boo becomes an icon, and Shirley Temple has become a memory. Everything and everyone has a label, starting in school. We do not learn anymore, we are merely indoctrinated into society, to become nothing more than puppets on a string for corporate America. I took all of my pills this morning. Kicking back for the Kardashians Take New York reruns on T.V. I’m getting used to watching stupid people on television, they’re all around us now!
