What: Hmong Menʼs basketball league When: Late February to early May 2015. Where: To be announced Cost: $60 per player/$500 per team Format: This is a 5-on-5 full court basketball with two twenty (20) running havles. Games: Games will be played on the weekends. This is a 8-game season. Division: Menʼs recreational division. A maximum of 8 teams and a minimum of 4 needed to form a league. Roster: A minimum of eight (8) players are needed to register as a team. No more then 12 players per team. One (1) non-Hmong Asian allowed per team. Must be 16 years or older to play on the menʼs rec division. Eligibility: Asians are defined as having origins from east, far east and southeast Asian nations. Hmong is defined as having a parent who is of Hmong ancestry. Uniforms: HBL reversible black/white mesh jersey can be purchased for $10 per player or a team may provide their own but must be of similiar color, style and legal numbers. Registrations: Please complete the HBL Team Registration Form along with HBL Release Form if required and bring your total fees to the mandatory Captain/Coachʼs Meeting. Checks or money orders may be made payable to the Hmong Foundation. Call or email the National Director if you wish to fill a team and to reserve a seat at the meeting.
