What I Know For Sure; If the rich can see the elected are poor in presenting a plan to Detroits citizen, they will come and take what they can with the money they have. I heard the rich asked Dave Bing not to take monies from the salaries of the police, because they understood its imperative to pay for police protection. In no other City do you hear a Council that appears to hate the police. Just look at the previous years budget, budget cuts to the police that should have never occurred. How do you see attack after attack of citizens and not speak the lowering of pay of police officers. This is not an attack on the Council, its what is true. Some see my words as attacking and that is not the case. The rich nor City Council sees what officers see, they do not go into the homes of decay, and decayed souls as well. However, they are being paid to put their foot on the police. Are you telling me with all the monies that are being spent for development in downtown, and there should be development, but it has to INCLUDE the development of neighborhood and the young people. Why is this so difficult? Guess what? It is not difficult, especially when you realize there are people who are sold out at the table. Listen, I said the rich should have their place, I would be stupid to believe otherwise. On the flip side of the equation, I aint stupid that the rich should have all of the say, and so much so Council is boldly willing to not have a crime plan in place, nor the proper salaries for those that are doing the policing.
