What I accomplished today: Woke up, fell out of bed, made coffee, fed and turned out my horses, fed my dogs, filled the water containers, dragged a comb across my head, drove to school (in pouring rain), prepped for my lesson today, taught 130 kids, spent lunch with colleagues learning new LAFS strategies, bell rings at 3:05, rush to a PD until 4:45, went to moms house to attend to some of her stuff, rush home, make a list.....muck my stalls, feed horses, turn them back in, feed dogs, carry feed from my truck to my feed room, fill water, again, research Internet for info and ideas regarding my lesson plans, do laundry, pay bills, bathe Nina...fleas, conduct due diligence regarding political candidates running for Congress in my district, more laundry, grade essays, clean a bathroom......reflect on how I am going to make it this year on $5000 less, drink wine, clean kitchen, grade more papers, measure wormers for tomorrow. I am glad that I have a home, have a job, have friends, have a purpose, have pets I love. Thank you God for all you give me!
