What I am about to type is going to really piss some people off, but frankly, if it does, then I am talking about you. In my opinion, if you say the phrase Christ died for your sins, you are a very selfish person, and you obviously didnt get the moral of the story. To even conceive the thought that it is ok to let some other being carry the weight of your cross, means that you are a disgrace to the entire human populace. I hate it when people tell me that Christ died for my sins, because I would never ever expect someone to suffer for my wrong doings. I did it, I am completely responsible. Christ was a great man. Christ taught a lot of amazing lessons and morals. I am Grateful that Christ existed, but I understand something that it seems most people dont, and that is that Christ was not a Christian. He was Jewish. He was a leader who stood up for what he believed in. I seriously doubt, that he died so you can feel better about yourself for being an asshole. I know Im an asshole, but I bear the weight of my own cross. Yall ought to try it. Rant over.
