What I believe is the first gray whale of the season was spotted off the coast of Laguna Beach today! For the next few months the pregnant mommas will be heading south to Baja, Mexico where they will give birth. And then the families migrate back north together with their new babies in tow. This means for the next 6 months or so we will have grays in the area.
