What I did this weekend... :-) Background: I wrote this song, Paper Worlds, many years ago for a local TV show about SF fans. It was nominated in Best Song category at the Filk communitys Pegasus awards. Chicago-area reprobate rockers Toyboat were nominated in the Best Performer, so we... combined forces. Fewer than a dozen folk were in on the plot, however, which meant several dear souls were initially concerned that Id had my song taken away from me, because I didnt budge from my chair when Toyboat took the stage... And then we kind of blew the roof off the place, and so the Toyboat fans, the Talis fans, and the many folk for whom Paper Worlds is a very special and beloved song, got what we rather think was a bit of a treat... :-) More in the comments. This is what happens when I cut loose :-) Oh, and Grizzly? Festival ending!
