What I dont understand Denver artists...is that while EVERYONE is complaining about how they dont get a chance and how DOPE they are...few a smart enough to understand that it is an INDUSTRY...just like any other business! There is a formulated PROCESS to success. THIS IS THE ONLY CITY WHERE A MAJOR ARTIST HASNT BROKEN IN HIP-HOP out of the TOP 30 in America. WHY IS THAT? Why is it that when we have events like The Summit Music Conference where people who are ON TOP OF THE GAME in the MUSIC INDUSTRY RIGHT NOW are coming to DENVER for the first time EVER...people question it. I mean the PERSON WHO SIGNED NIKKI MINAJ, T.I., DRAKE, TYGA, LIL WAYNE and G-Eazy is going to be here. As a basketball player I have spent TENS OF THOUSANDS to go to camps to get EXPOSURE and its the normal. Diddy is hosting the same conference as us and with AIRFARE and HOTEL is $2500 for three days. These conferences happen everywhere in the USA (Drive, A3C, Coast to Coast (Google them)) and are HUNDREDS of DOLLARS. Ours is $25.
