What I just sent to Hudack: Hi! Thanks for starting a thread about the state of the news industry. I can tell you that for years now, its all thats been on the minds of those of us who are still standing. Eventually, news organizations or new media companies will find a workable model that supports responsibly reported news that serves an educated electorate. Its always been a struggle, and Ive been in this business for 20 years.
