What I learned from Church today. If you dont mind me sharing 3minutes of your time. I learned something from my small little cousin today. The Pastor preached very well and stirred my spirit. But, my little cousin 6yrs old today was my man of God for the day. He was given sheet of papers with different colours. Then, I asked him, What did you learn from Sunday School today. He replies excitedly, with the coloured papers. Green stands for growth and ressurection. Yellow stands for gold like Heaven. White for holiness and cleanliness. Red for the Blood of Christ. Black for sin. I asked him, can he think of any other thing about the colour black. He said no. Then quickly he added, darkness and evil. When he looked at his skin colour... [I small the pain in eyes, and the many questions he was tempted to us] That wasnt the answer, I was expecting from him at his second attempt. I can pardon him as a kid. I told him, when he combines all the basic colours together, he will get black. Black for me stands for Unity! I am PROUD to be BLACK. I managed to put a smile on his face, and made him even more PROUD of his identity. The smile and relieve from his face gave me a testimony, which didnt need any sealed envelope in reuturn. I pray he never forgets this lesson, we learned today. And, may God grant my little cousin the wisdom to spread this sermon to his friends, classmates and future kids.
