What I learned in church today -- Not everyone’s scriptures are the same. For example, based on my behavior, mine must say this in Corinthians (and Moroni 7): Charity suffereth long, unless it’s been long enough. And is kind, when you are kind to me first. And envieth not, unless you have something I really want. And is not puffed up, because I really am better than you. Seeketh not her own, unless I need to take care of me first. Is not easily provoked, unless you really deserve it. Thinketh no evil, because you really do deserve it. And rejoiceth not in iniquity because I have righteous indignation, which means everything I say and do is okay. Beareth all things until I’m fed up. Believeth all things unless someone mocks or offends me. Hopeth all things when I’m in a good mood. Endureth all things as long as I meet no resistance.
