What I learned this week-Marion county will be issuing different color and shape dog tags to qualified service dogs. This will make it easier for everyone to know a qualified service dog from an emotional support dog. The owner has to sign a legal affiliated stating their dog is a qualified service dog to get these "free" dog tags. Hopefully other counties will join us in doing this. (my ideal by the way) And I will be offering classes (Two hour) that anyone can take that wants to learn all about service dogs and emotional support animals as soon as we can find a room downtown or somewhere on the bus line. When you take the class you will receive a certificate showing that you attended this class to show your landlord or one of our partners. We are hoping to partner with pet supply stores, vets etc and you will get a discount when you show the certificate. I am hoping that I can start the classes the first of Oct. so if anyone would like to take the class please call me at 503=400-9860. There will be a small fee for the classes but not much I know what it is like to live on a budget
