What I like about Duma Boko is that he is not scared to stir debates through his opinions as a human rights lawyer. Death penalty can be replaced with life sentence in prison if a person is found guilty. It happened in one state in America that a person was wrongfully sentenced to death only to be found innocent later on. The person was already killed and nothing could be done to replace him. Thats the reason why that State decided to back down on death penalty and replaced it with life sentence in Prison. This is a complex issue that must be debated thoroughly by Batswana re sa iphitlhe. Politicians must not be scared to say out their opinions for fear of voters backlash. We should engage each other for the benefit of this country!
