What Id like to see in Pacific Rim 2: A Drift experiment accidentally opens a portal to a Kaiju laboratory/factory in the aliens solar system/dimension/whatever(because SCIENCE!) and Gypsy Jr gets sucked in along with her new pilots, while a Kaiju egg gets pulled into our world. With the help of a modified Drift engine, Geiszler and Gottlieb use the elephant-sized Kaiju embryo to reopen the portal. Now its up to Mako and Becket to take the fight to the monsters using two prototype single-pilot Jaegers, nicknamed Berserkers for the flood of adrenaline their bleeding-edge Drift systems can trigger if the pilot loses control. Can the heroes of the Kaiju War stop Gypsy and her pilots from falling into enemy hands and get back to Earth before the Kaiju egg hatches? I would also like to see the beastie from Cloverfield in one of the alien factory pods, an easter egg for fans of the genre.
