What If? What if you stepped out of your comfort zone in faith? - TopicsExpress

What If? What if you stepped out of your comfort zone in faith? What is stepping out of your comfort zone led to potential embarrassment? What if in your embarrassment, others found confidence to believe again? What if the very thing you perceived to be a failure, others saw as courage and found hope? What would it mean to you to set aside hope in what is seen and trust God for what is unseen? What would your journey look like if you were not afraid of what others may think? What if you were to begin again and trust that Gods plans were bigger than your own? In this life, no one is guaranteed their efforts will bring about applause and accolades. However, in Gods word, we are promised if we seek we will find. What obstacles stand in the way of you seeking out your vision, and purpose? What if those obstacles were actually guideposts that caused you to change your mindset, your choices, and your habits that you may find true success? What if in making those changes you were gently detoured in the direction God prepared for you long ago? I recently saw a quote by Abraham Lincoln that stated, "Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm". What brings about enthusiasm in you? Would you be willing to let that enthusiasm be your guide to stepping out in faith? Would you be willing to trust you will find, instead of standing still in comfort of what is known? Could you rest in the hope of believing that what you do not see may be greater than what you do see? Failure bringing about Courage Embarrassment building Confidence Fear leading to Hope Will you let your obstacles be guideposts to change? "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make straight your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 You can begin the journey today. Its up to you to take the first step. Success in the worlds eye is not promised. As you draw nearer and nearer to him, your true purpose can be found! "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on me and come to me and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13 Will you begin today? SELAH
