What (Is it) a coincidence!? I had been using M-8o (geared moped) for the last sixteen years. Through all thick and thins it stood by me, by never letting me down despite my rough handling. There were many occasions I had dashed against the shutters of the closed shops and made it to roll down in the road, watching it silently by standing at a safe distance! The reason, I had no experience of riding any other vehicle other than a bicycle. My children used to tease me “you can carry weights up to 250 Gms on the M-80, if exceeded should come through an auto!” Yesterday I had to bid goodbye to the vehicle as it couldn’t serve me anymore. I had developed a sort of a deep attachment. However, I sold it with a very heavy heart and bought a new one. The cover which was used to shield M-80 against rain and sunlight was also equally old. I asked my better- half to wash it so that it could be used for the new vehicle. Accordingly, she soaked it in a bucket and tried today morning to wash. Surprisingly, the entire canvas cover started to slide and turn into pieces! On many previous occasions it had undergone such treatment, but never behaved like this! Perhaps it couldn’t withstand the separation of its long time companion! What a coincidence! Is it?
