What Ive learned from being homeless since I got to vegas. Life does not end because you dont have a roof over your head. Ive slept under this tree for the last 4 days because I got caught by the cops several days ago but if you park in Walmart you can sleep there. I never did. I found this tree but after been bitten by bugs for three days I could not take it anymore do today I was offered a couch by someone I felt I could trust. Made me nervous to sleep so close to the street. If you get a gym membership you can stay clean. Work for Westgate and they feed you breakfast and lunch. Vegas heat is intense. I am determined so when I ran out of gas I still made it to work / training just meant I had to start at 6am and walk 8 miles to make it there. I dont give up! Not now not ever. People who truelly care will make the time to check up on you. Just because I dont have a place it does not define me. Im courageous! Im crazy! I believe in myself now more than ever. I am amazing!!!! I never looked homeless even though I was and I was never ashamed because I was fighting my way back to the top. For anyone going through a hard time hang on, believe in yourself, move forward and have faith, because you are amazing!
