What Must I Do to Obtain Eternal Salvation? The Bible says that no man can come to the Father unless the Holy Spirit draw him. God is tugging on your heart to fulfill His plan for your life. He wants to talk to you about it… Jeremiah 29:11-13 says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Salvation is God’s plan for you! Jesus’ death and resurrection conquered death, sin and the grave… He paid the price for your eternal redemption. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17 And here’s how to obtain salvation… The New Testament Greek word for salvation is Soteria... which literally means to redeem you from ALL earthly ills (sickness and disease), demonic enemies and eternal damnation. In others words, you are redeemed in your body, soul and spirit! If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13 In other words, salvation is for EVERYBODY. Take a moment right now and pray right now wherever you are… Thank Him for dying on the cross for YOUR sins and sickness… for paying a debt that He didn’t owe, and paying a price you could never have paid. He took your sins upon Himself and paid the price for them upon the cross. Thank Him for going into hell and conquering death and the grave… Thank Him for defeating Satan and disarming all powers and principalities… and Thank Him for writing YOUR NAME in the Lamb’s Book of Life because you confessed Him as Lord and Savior of your life!
