What To Do When You Dont Get Support From The People You Love and Care About By Dr. Sinclair Grey III Do you ever get frustrated when the person you love the most doesnt support you in your vision? In other words, when your loved one is suppose to have your back, they flee and disappoint you, especially when you need them the most. Rather than be supportive of your idea, they start complaining and questioning why youre trying to do something out of the norm. It can be very discouraging to anyone with a cause and purpose to fulfill; only to have those around you tear it down. They may not tell you directly, but their actions will speak volumes. In this life, Ive discovered that it takes a strong person to press on towards fulfilling their goals, dreams, and aspirations, in spite of little or no support. Let me say it this way. When your goals, dreams, and aspirations mean everything to you, then youll do whatever you need to do to accomplish them. As one who has gone through having no support from certain friends and loved ones in the past, Ive learned the importance of determination and perseverance. I want you to get into your spirit that its important for you to be confident and secure within yourself in all you do. Unless youre confident within yourself, youll get deterred. In this spiritual journey, I want to share with you a few ways in which you can press on in spite of getting little or no support from your loved ones. The first thing you need to do is make sure you place enough value in you and your goals so that you know its worth the sacrifice and compromise. Without placing any value in yourself and your ability, youll end up surrendering to the haters in your life. The second thing you need to do is surround yourself with positive and productive people who are able to see your vision and run with it. Let me be real with you for a moment. It may be hard to distance yourself from those you love, but if theyre not supporting you, theyre bringing you down. Love them, pray for them, but do you. When the apostle Paul was writing to the people of Philippi, he deposited these words, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Please dont miss this last point. When you understand you have internal support from God, you can handle any negativity from the outside. In a real sense, when your vision has been stamped and ordained by God, youre going places, with or without that loved one. Remember, God is ordering your steps. Thats right; dont trip on people; get happy in God because Hes taking you where He wants you to go.
