What “Troubled” Pretty Little Liars Star Keegan Allen So Much He Stopped Following Fans on Twitter? In the mag, Keegan tells the story of how he recently found a young girl sobbing while leaving NYC’s Lucille Lorcel Theater where he is currently starring in his Off Broadway debut in Small Engine Repair. The reason for her tears? Keegan had started following her friends on Twitter, but not her — and they told her it was because she was fat and ugly. Keegan was so unsettled by the encounter — and at the way his social media actions was used in an act of bullying — that he chose to change his Twitter practices: “It troubled me so much that I just unfollowed everyone on Twitter,” Keegan said. (He now follows only 38 handles — “only people he knows or admires and news outlets,” according to the magazine.) “I don’t want to be a reason for somebody else feeling inadequate. I’m not going to contribute to bullying. I told her, ‘I’m going to do this for you.’”
