Its Your Man, J.L.: West Side / Yak-Town until I die, although I must admit that during my youth, I lived on every side of the Yak: The South Side off of Hughes and Nevada, from 65 thru 69; The North Side- in the Knolls off of University, 69 thru 70; plus in Newman Court, from 70-73; then on the East Side on S. Marshal from 72-74; then in Grandville Manor off of Walton Blvd from 75 thru 77; and finally, on the West Side, on Cherokee from 77 thru 83. And so, now you know, Im legitimately and officially Pontiac Born, Bred and Raised? No better or no worse than any other. But Moma Always Did Say Knock You Out! LOL OK, here I go. And of course, its longer than it should be, but if its coming from me, than its straight-up from the heart with no chaser. Also qualified to say or use that slogan seeing that Im a early retired and self-proclaimed cognac connoisseur. May the year of our Lord & Savior-Jesus Christ in 2015, bring u & us, more spirituality, more peace, better health, more happiness, more love, more meaningfulness, more miracles, more insight, more eye-opening experiences, more fruit, and more prosperity than I/we experienced in the year 2014, as well as in any other year prior to. In Jesus name, I pray it; will meditate on it daily; and claim it for you and myself. Get Yours Baby! This year (i.e. 2015) marks a pinnacle year for me and most of those that I grew up with, and like me, were born in 1965. Lord willing, my most beautiful, powerful and special Sisters and Brothers, we would have lived to see 50 in 2015! That, in itself, is a testament to our Gods most amazing grace for sure right there. OMG! And for those friends that we grew up with and to whom we grew to know and love, but have already been called home, I say for of us: We love U and miss U dearly! And no, life certainly has not been the same without you. But nevertheless, with Gods strength and grace, we somehow managed to move on because we had no other choice and moreover, because we knew youd have it no other way. And so we live on, doing good and great things that we know youd all be so proud that were doing. In closing, I refer each of you to the words of New York Times Bestselling Author, T.D. Jakes where he states: Nothing is off-limits as you explore. You are the most fascinating person you will ever know! So dont cover up, deny, suppress, or pretend otherwise.
