What You Must Know... Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. - Psa 100:3 God soaking of His people under the Old Testament said, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children (Hosea 4:6 NKJV). Then under the New Testament He says, And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32 NKJV). The truth you must is this; 1. Know that the Lord Jesus is God: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth...And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. (John 1:1, 14, 16-18 NKJV) > Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the very God that came down to the earth He created to reveal Himself for us; For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6 NKJV) * No wonder He says, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me...I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me...Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves...If you love Me, keep My commandments...Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:1, 6, 11, 15, 27 NKJV) 2. Know that the Lord Jesus made us: Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion...So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis 1:26-27 NKJV) > The GodHead created us in His image, after His likeness and He blessed us, and said to us, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion...over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Gen 1:28). Through disobedient of Adam the entire Mankind lost that dominion and blessings of God to satan, but when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law [of sin and death], that we might receive the adoption as sons (Galatians 4:4-5 NKJV) * JESUS redeemed us from sin, death, satan, fear, curse, sickness, disease and evil; He made us new creation to live by faith; having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man...For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:15,8-10 NKJV) > Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, (II Corinthians 5:17-18 NKJV) 3. Know that the Lord Jesus has made us His people, the sheep of His pasture: Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture...I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep...I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own...And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd...My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand...I and My Father are one.” (John 10:7-9, 11, 14, 16, 27-28, 30 NKJV) * By grace through faith in Christ Jesus, we are now a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy (I Peter 2:9-10 NKJV). We are not saved and called to worship God like the Jews or the Gentiles but in Spirit and in Truth - Jn 4:19-24. * We are the new breed, Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (I Peter 2:4-5 NKJV) > We dont offer sacrifices nor pay tithes like the Jews, for We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat...Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. (Hebrews 13:10, 15-16 NKJV) • Finally, know that we were not saved by grace and know the Lord just to remain infants, but as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious...but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever... (1Pet 2:2-3. 2Pet 3:18 NKJV) > Spiritual immaturity is not encouraged in the body of Christ; For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. (Read Heb 5:12-14; 6:1-8. 2Pet 1:2-12) + May you believe, know, grow and be established in the present truth above all knowledge in Jesus Name! Amen!
