What a CRAZY day! I woke up super early this morning so decided to go into work early. Got here at about 7:00 and was told by Katie Salim to check my desk for anything missing because when she got in her drawers were open at her desk and our boss, Anton, was missing his laptop from his office. He also mentioned that the laptop case was missing. Then Katie said that she thought she saw a laptop case by Michael Eastbergs desk so I went over to his desk and there were two laptop cases under his desk as well as a coat that looked like it was covering some stuff. So I pulled the coat off to see what was under it and there was a young lady sitting with her knees up and she was hiding her face!!! She was probably in her late teens or early 20s! I told Anton and he started telling her to come out from under the desk. Then she started coming out and she was saying Ive got to go now. Ive got to go....... We were holding her arm and trying to get her to stay and trying to get her to sit down in a chair and she became VERY combative! She started hitting Anton in the head and she tried biting me. Anton then got his arms around her and she sunk her teeth right into his arm and gave him a BIG nasty bite! When I saw her do that I grabbed her by the hair and all three of us went down to the floor. Anton laid on top of her and I called 911 from my cell phone. The cops finally showed up along with a couple of medics who cleaned Antons arm up a bit. Anton got his laptop and case and cord back from a backpack she had with her. I ran Anton up to the hospital to get checked out and they gave him some antibiotics and a tetanus shot and they cut some of the flesh away from the wound. They feel real confident that there was no transference of anything bad from her to him. He wont really be breathing a sigh of relief until the final labs come in but they feel very confident that hes going to be ok. Hope this can be the catalyst for her to get control of her life and get some help. Im just now getting my first cup of coffee!
