It will cloud over during the evening with a little rain reaching Orkney later. Light winds this morning then freshening southerly winds this afternoon and evening. Maximum Temperature: 12 Deg C (54 Deg F) Tonight: Cloudy with patchy light rain over Orkney at first, extending to Shetland overnight and turning heavier for a time. A much milder night with fresh southwesterly winds. Minimum Temperature: 8 Deg C (46 Deg F) Thursday: Mainly cloudy and misty with a little drizzle during the day. A few brighter interludes especially around Orkney. Temperatures on the mild side with fresh southwesterly winds continuing. Maximum Temperature: 13 Deg C (55 Deg F) Outlook for Friday to Sunday: Dry, brighter and warmer on Friday with fresh southerly winds. Rather cloudy with a few showers on Saturday then more persistent and heavier rain will affect the Isles on Sunday.
