What a Gem of a Rant that we have here. I, Chris Stolpa, would like to take a second to address this. First of all, I assume that you must run a bar and grill somewhere in LaCrosse. I also assume, that you must have zero turnover at this establishment you run. I am again assuming that you run some of the lowest margins in town and do that even if it kills you. Besides all of those things, I am guessing that you run a fantastic incentive program for your loyal customers. I do believe one of the best programs around. If I am wrong about anything above, I apologize for assuming. You deserve better than that. Let me try again.... Our prices do change daily sometimes for the better and sometimes the other. This happens with how much is ordered and what is available. However, we sell liters at varying cost. Incase you forgot your calculator, those liters are equal to 3 - 12 oz. bottles (knowing that 12 oz. bottles actually only yield about 11.2 oz.). I am sure you already knew that. If we were to price our Liter steins at the same price that others price their bottles, you would be spending around 15.00 and up!! I apologize for setting our prices so low. I will talk to the rest of our friends (customers) and ask them if we should raise the prices. Also, we run a happy hour like no other. This is not the 50 cents off a drink for a few hours type of happy hour. We run ours for over 8 hours a day. Guess we should call it happy day! We would hate to get stale and run the same specials year after year, so we do our best to change them quarterly. The best part of your rant is the fact that you will not find better food at a better price anywhere downtown. If you think I am wrong, feel free to have a 17 oz. beer, sandwich of your choosing, and soup. I cant wait to show you the difference...... So I said my piece on the fact that you know nothing. Now to address the serious accusationgs here. We have the most honest and helpful bartenders in the area... if not the world. I would bet my life on it. It takes quite the cowardly person to hide behind a rant when saying things like this. At the Stein Haus, if there is a problem we fix it the right way and dont hide behind things like this. Shame on you! As for horrible management, Austin and Shorty are the best in the business. What these two can do is nothing more than amazing. For you to even think they are horrible has me wonder what fairytale land you live in. I dont believe there is a person in La Crosse that would agree with you.... (well maybe you, but lets be honest.. you dont count)! If you want to call anyone out, call out me, Chris Stolpa! From what I hear I am the worst owner that LaCrosse has ever seen. Not only that, I treat my customers terribly, no one ever comes back, my employees hate me...... so on and so forth. Actually, I have never heard that and dont expect I will soon. May you be forced to: drink dirty beer from dirty tap lines, sit in a bar where your feet stick to the ground, have bartenders ignore you while they talk to that hottie, eat food that is not only over priced but over cooked, and smoke on the sidewalk in the heart of the summer!!
