What a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE day :( I am now pretty much bedridden, my surgery Friday cant come soon enough!.. Well thats if it goes ahead!!! I cannot believe that this morning while going through excruciating pain i got a phone call...Just to recap, hubby JUST changed jobs so we have NO insurance but working on getting a cobra insurance...Unless we could pay $9,255 TODAY or get the almost $2,500 of Cobra paid(and prove it to them its paid) for remainder of July and August they were going to postpone my surgery even though i am on the Urgent list!! We DO NOT have money to throw around like that and i was pleading with her on the phone that i NEED this and she felt so bad but could do nothing... they said there is EMERGENT and URGENT...Basically even though i am a mess and this could strangulate as my hernia is now stuck it is not an emergency so they WONT see me until they get proof of payment...So unless i am a heap on the floor they will just delay and delay until we cough up money...This is DISGRACEFUL to me and difficult to understand coming from another country!! Very thankful for hubbys Dad who wrote us a check until we can pay it back so i can go ahead with my surgery!!! They said the paperwork MUST be mailed and go overnight so PLEASE pray they get it in time and take me on Friday and get this surgery i so badly need!! Thank you all so very much!!!
