What a beautiful LORDs Day! It has been filled with wonder today. Before I headed out for Church this morning, I was thinking on how that Stephen has told me throughout these years at different times that Jesus has told him more than once that He is going to totally heal him here on this earth. Keeping in mind what Jesus said about a prophet not being accepted in his own country or household, I must confess that I did not know if it was true or not, yet I knew that God had showed him things throughout the years including the 9-11 incident before it ever happened. He also told him in 1996 that Stephen would one day have a website dedicated to The LORD. Stephen didnt even own a computer at the time that Jesus told him this. It would be ten years later in 2006 that the website was indeed a reality: Living Hope In Jesus. These are but two examples of how The LORD has indeed spoken to him throughout the years. Jesus has given him so many prophetic dreams. Jesus has given him so many open visions, also. LORD Jesus began speaking to Stephen when he was but a child but he told no one about it until we met because he was brought up Southern Baptist (just as I was) and such a statement about Jesus speaking to him even as a child would have been taboo. He trusted me to tell me about these things because he knew that I knew that Jesus does indeed speak to His children sometimes in an audible voice. Yet with knowing this, I doubted what Stephen had told me re: The LORD telling him throughout these years that He was going to heal him of this work of satan called cancer. I have no excuse to make for my doubt and unbelief. When it was so strongly on my mind this morning, I decided that I was going to pursue this topic with him again with faith. When I saw him today after Church, I asked him again specifically about his statements throughout the years of this cancer ordeal that Jesus had told him that he was going to heal him here on earth (not by taking him to heaven). The answer was the same BUT there was a distinct difference in what he said to me today in that he corrected me right away when I referred to his future healing. He shook his head no and said loudly and firmly I AM healed. I was too shocked because I had never heard him say that ever before in the present tense. He also told me about Jesus appearing to him in a vision in April of this year talking to him about the fact that He was going to indeed completely heal him and raise him up again. Stephen is a very quiet and private man and this is something he had not shared even with me until today. Stephen went on to say that when Jesus does raise him up again that he is going to go about doing what he has always done but he added very firmly and resolutely that he is ready to go anywhere Jesus sends him to tell of Jesus totally healing and restoring him. So strong was his determination as he spoke on this to me. He is absolutely determined that Jesus receive all of the glory due unto His Name for this. I have watched Stephen through these years display such calmness and patience as he has waited for Jesus to heal him even when screaming loudly with horrifying pain a couple of years or so ago with this demonic cancer. He has always said that he KNEW that he would be totally healed. And guess what? That is exactly what is going to manifest in completion at Jesus appointed time! ~ Oh, Glory be to The LORD God Almighty Jesus Christ both now and throughout eternity! What compassion! What mercy! What loving-kindness! What grace! What love! It is because of Jesus blood sacrifice on the cross of Calvary that we can have healing from God! Praise His Holy Name forever and ever!
