What a beautiful movie Avatar is. We just watched it again. I remember Steve and I sitting in stunned silence when it first came out in theaters. Steve actually wept out loud. I think James Cameron had the Koch brothers in mind when he wrote the script. Unobtainium, the mineral they are plundering the indigenous people and lands for on Pandora is worth $20 million a kelo, and they are willing to destroy the entire planet and the sacred Navi people to get it. I wonder if those who deny climate change in order for the oil and gas companies to continue to rape our land, even get the movie, or have even bothered to see it? Sad that those who need the wake up call the most, are often the same ones whose minds have closed shut on anything remotely associated with liberal ideas, such as saving our planet, promoting peace, and embracing diversity..
