What a beautiful resurrection morning! We have just 5 sleeps till we descend on camp for the 3rd Team Pink Princess retreat! How exciting! If it werent for Christ and what He did for me I wouldnt be here today. I believe wholeheartedly He spared my life over almost 4 years ago when cancer came knocking. He has revealed His promises and His Word to me day after day since then. Thank You, Father! I will sing of what the King of all Kings has done for me all the days of my life. Thank You Lord for Your perfect plan. One thing I learned after cancer that I dont believe I ever really got before was this.....On this weekend over 2000 years ago Jesus paid for it ALL! What was ALL? All is three fold, not just two. He stood in my place for all of my sin, a given to most that believe. He stole the keys to death and the grave. I will spend eternity in heaven, also for me an absolute truth. The third part and the one part that I struggled with was the healing. Jesus was beaten and scourged that I would be healed. By His stripes we are healed. Not might be healed, not maybe. Not if you have never sinned. Healing and forgiveness go hand and hand throughout the Bible. HEALED. Healthy and whole in Jesus name. Cancer, disease, fear, woundedness, addiction, shame, brokenness, you name it......He paid for it. As He hung His head and died He shouted It is finished!. Finished. Finished. Finished. Sin, finished. Death, finished. Disease, finished. Believer, if I have one thing to convey to you on this Easter morning it is this. The sacrifice Jesus paid on the cross at Calvary was a COMPLETE and PERFECT work. It was not dependant on my goodness or my ability to do one one thing to earn it. He knows what a mess I am yet He sacrificed it all for me and you. He paid for you to have victory in every area of your life. That doesnt mean you wont have to go through some stuff, this world is full of stuff. What it means is that through the stuff He has got you. Nothing that happens to you does so without passing though His hands. Fix your eyes on the cross and ONLY believe. The cross is THE foundation for my life. Is it yours?
