What a beautiful, uplifting time we had at the Hip Hop Caravan event that took place in the streets of Kijenge today at S.U.A. headquarters at the original Watengwa Recs Studio! This was a collaboration with Hip Hop Caravan artists Michael Crenshaw and Mkhului Khusta Sijora both who bout fiya to the community! The event was organized by Okoa Mtaa directors Daz Bakari and Biggie Shirima and Alliance Francaise Cultural Director, Ally Kwere and all the crew. The OGs were in the house including Umbwa Lutono, Chaba Thomas, MoPlus and more and the young turks rocked the mic including Motra the Future, Jeri, and many more! It was a day to remember! Big Ups to all the artists, all the organizers and the huge crowd that filled the streets of Kijenge with positive, conscious hip hop! As our South African brother Khusta said, ToiToi Hip Hop! Aluta Continua!! And as our brother from the U.S., Michael Crenshaw said, We are all our Superheroes! Yebo!! Stay tuned for photos and video clips!
