What a blessed day! 1. It started with my granddaughter Kelsie making coffee, her cousin Kaylee serving it to me in bed along with watermelon. Then my youngest granddaughter Adriana and I had an amazing conversation about God...especially for a nine year old. 2. Next the 3 of them practically dressed me for a wedding I was attending...which was fun...they literally pushed me out the door. 3. Attended the wedding of my precious 2nd Mother whom I met through work many years ago. She and new husband are 80 years old. What a treasure to have witnessed this and it is wonderful they have both found happiness so late in their lives. May God bless them both. Enjoyed time with old friends reminising. 4. Drove through Coonskin Park on my way home...I spent many lunch hours there eating a packed lunch & playing Backgammon when I worked at the State Capitol. Lots of memories there. Checked out the National Guard Armory as I came out. 5. Did a little shopping at Elder-Beerman after. I had not been there for a few years. 6. Now my body is paying the price for my long day ...But, it was so worth it! Thank you God for this day! Good night my treasured friends...love and hugs to each of you.
