What a blessing for this mothers heart to witness, over the Summer, my daughter obeying a vision from God to write a music video to a song that our purity youth group chose together, and from combining stories the younger kids chose at an AOTM meeting to put it all together in a script. The task seemed impossible. But to see her go through the ups and downs of writing and then to truly let go and let God show her step by step to depend on Him, and then in her own words boom, there it was- and the script was there all of a sudden! was astounding and oh so familiar to me. It was such fun to watch as she joyfully wrote it out, and then explained it to her daddy and me so we could move forward with the plan. It showed us what a responsible, confident and gracious leader she is becoming as we got to stand there and observes as she directed and talked to young actors, approached people and places to film, and positioned and set up props for the on location video shoots we would do around Indy. What an amazing journey to experience from the outside- in. It was a delight to walk this with her and to see how God brought others to support and help in so many ways with the vision as He led her to bring it too fruition. What an amazing growing process to see your child go through,, and then to see Gods favor in not only every detail, but in the editing part where even every beat of the music fell into perfect place. God is so good to those who surrender to Him. What a lovely thing to then see her take charge and present it to her pastor for approval, to be told-- it is your night, go for it!-- and then see her want to make it extra special for the children who acted in it. What a JOY!! If that wasnt blessing enough; How can I even begin to describe the absolute exhilaration to get to see my daughter stand in front of so many tonight and share so eloquently -- that whole testimony in detail and then to pray for this video to touch lives and present the finished product itself. Absolutely breathtaking. What a TESTIMONY of His GREATNESS and how He gives us vision to GLORIFY HIM bigger than ourselves as it stretches us beyond ourselves .. so we cannot take credit for what we do, so that HIS POWER moves lives and hearts in the process and final outcome!! That is what it is all about. To see precious Abigail Rose Robbins, the darling little baby girl who God moved Heaven and earth to bring to my arms-- serving Him in this faithful and surrendered way is so much more than what her daddy and I ever dreamed-- Sure we hoped she would always know Him, but to see this kind of a thing in her life at 16, the favor, the blessings, the willingness to just surrender the way she does for His glory--- we never expected... when it comes to reality .. We are truly blessed. Our childrens talents never cease to amaze us.. as they come to be.. and God uses them mightily... and they willingly use all of their talents to GLORIFY HIM. And then to have His presence and calling confirmed with such amazing words spoken to and about her from the heart of people who hear from God, as well, on her night ... WHAT A GIFT!!!! And it spurs all of us on to MORE for Him... I just dont know what could be more beautiful--- than your child LITERALLY having a RED CARPET rolled out for GOD at His video premiere.... overwhelmed in blessing...
