What a blessing from the Tift County Retired Educators Association! They have just provided us with an unexpected donation in memory of Ms. Marion Whiddon, pictured here, and in support of the new Marion Culpepper Whiddon Womens Circle on Early Literacy. Thanks to this donation, and others like it, we will be able to provide brand new books to area preschool children whose parents may not be able to provide books in their homes. Studies show that early literacy skills and early access to age-appropriate reading materials help prepare a child for a lifetime of success.
