What a bloody day. the princess Cat was horrid today when the horse shoer came today. First she was tossing herself all over, then she kept throwing her head, then she ripped the lead rope through my hands leaving a nice rope burn on my left hand. She got way far away and I was trying to get her back rope, halter and all when I nearly passed out on in the field. Oh did I mention it was 94 at 3:00 pm??? So there was no way to hold her so she had to be tied to a tree which of course pissed her off even more. So he had to do the dastardly deed, after she stomped on his foot, he put a twitch on her nose. She still was a mess by the time he got her front feet taken care of he had called her an Fn C--t and that got her attention. I have never seen her behave like this. After he got done she was back to herself and acting like a perfect lady. I think I got a bit of heat stroke as when I got home I was soaked and my pulse was 111.....I will go see her in the morning when it is cooler. Poor Smooth was so sad that I didnt stay longer and hung his head by the gate. It broke my heart to leave him....
